Chapter 3 - MOHAMED

Muslim apologists say that the Quran could not have been written by an illiterate man like Mohamed. Although most Arabs could neither read or write at the period, many people recorded poems, stories, letters, and even novels by hiring professional writers or scribes. The illiteracy argument can be safely dismissed as nonsense.

Even though Mohamed was a trustworthy and kind person, this does not automatically make him a prophet. Otherwise, anyone with a good reputation may claim prophecy.

Let us look at the facts Mohamed presented to support his claim that he is Allah's most beloved prophet and the last prophet sent to mankind. We shall also look into Mohamed's claim to have received the last divine revelation, the Quran.

His character, conduct, and teachings constitute the most compelling proof. Four key areas should provide us with enough data: (A) Mohamed’s key events, (B) Mohamed's views on and evaluation of women, (C) Mohamed's personal character, and (D) Mohamed's feelings toward his parents.

A. Significant Events

Mohamed's marriage to 'Aisha,' a six-year-old girl.

The massacre of the Banu Qurayza Tribe (BQT).

Um Qirfa's assassination (The mother of Qirfa).

Mohamed marries the ex-wife of his adopted son.

People from Ukil are being punished.

The assassination  of Kab Ibn Al-Ashraf and Abu Rafi .

Stoning the adulterous woman from Juhaina.

Allowing non-Muslim prisoner women to be raped.

Muslim and non-Muslim scholars have argued these events, but in this paper, I will critically examine what occurred and what Mohamed's goals were. Were they divine, or were they his responses to lust, greed, and/or insane desires?

Mohamed’s marriage to Aisha

To accuse Mohamed of being a paedophile is a serious charge that requires a thorough examination. This is a common assertion made by Islam sceptics; hence its base should be investigated. Aisha was only six years old when she was betrothed to Mohamed, who was in his fifties at the time, and only nine when the marriage was consummated, according to records. Mohamed's marriage to Aisha at such a young age, according to Muslim apologists, was the norm at the period. Furthermore, they believe that this marriage was divinely inspired, as Mohamed stated, "'You have been presented to me twice in my dream.' 'This is your wife,' someone commented to me when I saw you portrayed on a piece of silk. When I unearthed the photograph, I recognised it as yours. "If this is from Allah, it will be done," .

This hadith, as well as Mohamed's marriage to Aisha, is without debate among Muslims, and we can take it as true.

My comment:

Let's examine what type of logic and common sense may be used to legitimise this union:

Was Allah genuinely intervening to marry his prophet to a six-year-old kid, and if so, what was the added value?

Dreams are images formed while we sleep, and their apparent goal is to assist us in processing our suppressed emotions and desires. Dreams, according to Sigmund Freud, are the royal way to the unconscious. A dream should not be construed or understood as a command to do or not do something, but that is exactly what Mohamed did. He simply interpreted his ostensible dream as a command, a divine invitation to marry a six-year-old girl. One has to ask if Islam's so-called "knowing and flawless" God might have found a better means to communicate his instructions to Mohamed or any of his purported prophets than through dreams.

The result of Mohamed's ignorance in relation to his dreams, whatever they were (we can be sure they weren't all about an image of Aisha), meant that he, wrongly or perhaps even deliberately, interpreted his lust and desire for marriage to a six-year-old girl as being favoured and blessed by Allah.

Was it because Mohamed wouldn't or couldn't wait until Aisha was at least fifteen years old before concluding that he was a paedophile? Why force the sexual needs of a fifty-three-year-old guy on a six-year-old child who understands nothing about life's duties and marital commitments? In today's world, marrying a child or a juvenile is punishable by law in 156 different countries. Are these countries all at fault? Was it right for Mohamed to accomplish what he saw in his dream?

Is it true that Aisha gave her permission? A youngster under the age of six is not considered capable of giving sexual consent under current legislation.

Would a prudent and loving father marry his daughter to a man who was her grandfather's age? Who gave Abu Baker, Aisha's father, such power?

Had Mohamed considered Aisha's future after his death? Mohamed died while she was only 17 years old. His main concern was to persuade Allah to adopt a law prohibiting any of his wives from marrying after his death, a terrible law for the widows who survived Mohamed! The Quran warns; "You must not disrespect Allah's Apostle, nor may you ever marry his wives after him, that would be a major [sin] in Allah's eyes." (Q33:53). It's worth noting that Mohamed left nine widows behind.

Did Mohamed show clear double standards when he refused to marry his daughter Fatima to his best friend Abu Bakr and later informed his buddy Umar that she was too young to marry, despite the fact that he married Aisha when she was considerably younger? According to this verified hadith: "’Abu Bakr' and 'Umar', may Allah be pleased with them, proposed marriage to 'Fatimah,' but the Messenger of Allah responded, 'She is young’, Ali then proposed marriage to her, and he wedded her.”

When Ali Ibn Abu Talib married Fatima, he was twenty-one years old, but Abu Bakr and Omar would have been in their mid-fifties when they proposed to her. Fatima married Ali when she was fifteen years old.

The Banu Qurayza Tribe (BQT) massacre

In 627 AD, Muslims slaughtered over 800 members of the Banu Qurayza, a Medinan Arab Jewish tribe.

The assassination took place over the course of a day. Those who managed to avoid death were kidnapped and sold as slaves. This, according to Mohamed, was Allah's command to punish the BQT for allegedly siding against Muslims during the Battle of the Trench with the Quraysh and allied tribes (from Mecca).

According to the Quran, Allah had sanctioned and assisted Mohamed in punishing the BQT (killing some, capturing the rest, and confiscating all their land and property). “…He threw terror into their hearts. Some of them you killed, and others you took captive. And He made you inherit their land, and their homes, and their possessions, and a region you have never stepped on….” (Q33:26 & 27).

The BQT event obviously qualifies as genocide, but before we reach a conclusion, let us examine what exactly transpired and what motivated Mohamed to carry out his attack.

The Battle of the Trench

The battle took place around the city of Medina.

The battle took place in and around Medina. The Muslims are stationed behind a trench that runs between a mountain range to the west and a lava field to the east of Medina, as seen in the map below. A mountain range to their south, as well as the border controlled and guarded by the Jewish tribe Banu Qurayza, protected them.

Mohamed had made an agreement with the Banu Qurayza to protect his back, preventing Quraysh and allied tribes (the Meccan army) from entering Medina through their fronts. As a result, the Quraysh and allied tribes confronted just a narrow front, shielded by a trench, which the numerically inferior Muslims could easily hold.

A flank attack over the impenetrable lava field to the east and the mountain range to the west proved impossible. The Quraysh and their allies besieged the Muslims for a month, unable to mount a frontal attack without causing unacceptable fatalities, until a massive sandstorm forced them to disperse and retreat.

Map - The Battle of the Trench

This is what happened after the Meccans retreated

Mohamed ordered his fighters to attack the BQT, charging them of being traitors who perceived a golden opportunity to side with his opponent, the Meccan army, during the Battle of the Trench.

Mohamed's followers besieged the BQT for nearly a month before surrendering - not through fighting, but through endurance. The Jews unconditionally surrendered at the end of the siege. Then the Messenger of Allah commanded that a ditch be dug, so they were dug in the earth, and they were brought, tied by their shoulders, and beheaded.

Ibn Kathir, one of the reliable Islamic sources, tells us what happened to the defenceless tribe who were on their knees to Mohamed and his fellow warriors: "Then the Messenger of Allah commanded that a ditch be dug, so they were dug in the earth, and they were brought, tied by their shoulders, It was estimated that there were between 700 and 800 of them. Women and children who had not yet reached adolescence were imprisoned, and their property was seized."

During the siege of Medina by the Quraysh and their allies, it is apparent that the BQT kept their pact with the Muslims. The Quraysh and their allies were unable to strike from the rear because the Banu Qurayza, as agreed with the Muslims, were guarding it. After being denied access to the back of the Muslim lines, the Quraysh and their allies eventually retreated, unable to engage in genuine combat with the Muslims.

Why did Mohamed choose to wipe out the BQT?

This authentic hadith provides the answer: "On the day (of the fight) of Al-Khandaq (Trench), Allah's Apostle laid down his arms and took a bath. The angel Gabriel then appeared to him and said, “You have laid down your arms! I haven't laid down my weapons yet, by Allah.' 'Where (to go now)?' said Allah's Apostle. 'This way,' Gabriel answered, pointing to the Banu Qurayza tribe. As a result, Allah's Apostle went out to them.' ”

The Muslim campaign against the BQT was not on the radar until the angel Gabriel appeared on the scene, commanding Mohamed to fight the BQT, as Mohamed said. Because his men expected plunder and slaves, Mohamed couldn't simply retreat without gaining anything. Mohamed had no choice but to manufacture supernatural guidance. This information was readily available from his trusty imaginary buddy, the angel Gabriel, who appeared to him in his bath and advised him to punish the Banu Qurayza. This is what Mohamed was thinking about when he received what he claimed was Gabriel's order: "No Mohamed, you laid arms without achieving your goal! You should slaughter non-Muslims and instil terror in their hearts, robbing them of whatever they own."

My comment:

Assuming the BQT did conduct treachery, which there is no evidence of, then just those who were responsible, not the entire tribe, should be punished.

Assuming the BQT did battle the Muslims, all individuals who surrendered or were taken should be handled as prisoners of war and given a fair trial before being sentenced or punished.

With the upper hand, Mohamed, if he was truly a man of peace and mercy, would have acted more humanely and generously, rather than in the manner of a mass murderer.

Mohamed was ruthless in his handling of the BQT scandal, contradicting the Quran's claim that he was a "mercy to mankind." "As a mercy to all mankind, we sent you." (Q21:107).

If the BQT was untrustworthy, Allah, as 'The All-Knowing,' should have warned Mohamed not to trust them or establish a pact with them beforehand. The late warning from Gabriel resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people who were absolutely innocent of any acts of treason against Muslims.

Islamist justifications that the BQT guys were traitors who deserved to die are yet another heinous falsehood. It is not backed up by evidence.

Sir William Muir , an Islamic scholar, wrote an article that should give insight on the BQT tragedy. It's heartbreaking and upsetting:

"The men and women were separated for the night in different yards.... [they] spent the night in prayer, repeating scriptural passages and exhorting one another incessantly." Graves or ditches... were dug in the marketplace late at night. When things were ready in the morning, Mahomet, who had witnessed the tragedy firsthand, ordered that the captives be brought forth in groups of five or six. Each company was forced to sit on the edge of the pit that would be their burial and beheaded there. They were thus brought out, party after party, and massacred in cold blood until the entire group was slain. Mahomet returned from the horrifying spectacle, having sated his revenge by drenching the marketplace in the blood of eight hundred victims and commanding the earth to be smoothed over their remains, to solace himself with the charms of Rihanna, whose husband and all male relatives had just perished in the massacre. He invited her to marry him, but she declined and preferred to remain his slave or concubine (since she had no other choice after refusing marriage). She also turned down the invitation to convert and remained a devout follower of Judaism. However, it is reported that she afterwards converted to Islam."

The following are some references to the BQT campaign, including some scholars' support for Mohamed's actions:

Justifications for the genocide of the BQT by Islamist

The brutal killing of the mother of Qirfa

One of the saddest chapters in Islamic history is the tragedy of Umm Qirfa (the mother of Qifra) . It is a case of irrational and severe violence. On pages 664 and 665, Ibn Ishak describes the story as 'Zaid B. Haritha's raid on Banu Fazara and the death of Umm Qirfa.'

Her death was not natural, but rather the result of a heinous crime. She was slain by attaching her legs to two camels and driving them in opposing directions until she was cut in half.

Her daughter was kidnapped. Mohamed took her as his concubine since she was a very attractive young lady.

Let us examine Mohamed's motivation for approving the assassination of such a revered and high-ranking elderly woman in one of the most heinous methods possible.

The solution is obvious. Umm Qirfa was a powerful opponent, an 'unbeliever' who refused to submit to Mohamed's oppression.

In any event, Mohamed couldn't stand a woman in a position of power in any society. He is the one who remarked, “Never will succeed such nation as makes a woman their ruler”

Umm Qirfa became a target for this reason, and according to some historians, Mohamed ordered his people to parade the old woman's beheaded head around Medina's streets as a reminder to Arabs that a woman should never assume a high position in society.

My comment:

Mohamed made no attempt to show mercy or object to his men's savage killings. This proves that the Quran's claim that Mohamed was a messenger of mercy for mankind is false.

Mohamed plainly established that disbelievers and those who oppose Islam face death, completely disregarding the Quran's claim to religious freedom, which states: “There is no compulsion in religion “(Q2:256), and “You have your religion and I have mine” (Q109:6). Should one assume that these scriptures had already been abolished, as some Muslim scholars contended, hence the freedom of choosing any religion but Islam was no longer a valid option?

What kind of Islamic morality did Mohamed's followers display when they kidnapped Umm Qirfa's innocent daughter, abused her, and then gave her to Mohamed as a slave? It was determined that no legal action was required.

When Mohamed begged twice for Umm Qirfa's daughter, who was reputed to be one of Arabia's most beautiful women, he was seized by lust. .

Mohamed was obsessed with the attractive young lady, just as he was with Rihanna , the BQT captive woman whose husband he murdered. Rihanna allegedly gave herself to Mohamed, according to Muslim apologists. No one believes a lady would agree to an intimate relationship with someone who had just murdered her husband and family in cold blood. Those who claim Rihanna gave herself to Mohamed are lying knowingly and willfully.

Mohamed marrying his adopted son’s wife

Mohamed's marriage to Zainab bent Jahish, the wife of his adopted son Zaid, plainly demonstrates that his purpose was his desire for a beautiful woman. Mohamed's intense passion for women was proven not only by his taking thirteen wives and scores of more women as concubines or private belongings (all of which were legal under Islamic law), but also by his express request to have any woman he desired. Rihanna and Umm Qirfa's daughter, the ladies Mohamed demanded for himself, are two good examples that illustrate this notion. Mohamed's method for obtaining Zainab illustrates his tremendous yearning for women and his willingness to go to any length to obtain any woman, girl, or child he desired. Let's see what Muslim apologists have to say about this marriage before we make a decision.

Mohamed had determined, with Allah's blessing, that Zaid should marry Zainab as a token of his gratitude for his devotion to Mohamed. Another reason for this marriage was to avoid the caste and position status preferences that were prevalent at the period. Zainab was born into a wealthy Quraysh family, while Zaid was a slave who was adopted by Mohamed. It was a blessed marriage sanctioned by Allah, as the Quran states, "It is not acceptable for a Believer man or woman to have any option regarding their decision when a matter has been resolved by Allah and His Apostle..." (Q33:36).

Zainab was uneasy about the marriage since she felt she deserved a better husband than a servant. Between Zainab and Zaid, there were regular squabbles. This was brought to Mohamed's attention, who counselled Zaid to keep his wife, but as the problem persisted, Zaid had no choice but to divorce Zainab, and Allah intervened to marry her to Mohamed.

Mohamed is once again pleading with God to help him achieve his goal of having Zainab. In his heavenly Kingdom, Allah had personally intervened to marry Mohamed to Zainab. The Quran says, "So when Zaid had no need for her, We married her to you in order that there be no difficulty upon the believers concerning the wives of their adopted sons when they no longer have need of them" (Q33:37). We also observe Zainab taking full use of such a supposedly heavenly marriage in order to make her compete and feel better among Mohamed's other wives when he wedded Zainab. "You were given in marriage by your families, while I was married (to the Prophet) by Allah from over seven Heavens," Zainab used to proudly flaunt her greater position to Mohamed's wives.

My comment:

When we look at the timeline objectively, we can conclude that Mohamed's motivation for marrying Zainab was solely personal. When he saw Zainab's naked body by chance, he had a great urge to have her, but there were two issues to settle. Zainab was a married woman, and her husband was Mohamed's adopted son, which was a big issue. As a result, even if Zainab was divorced, Mohamed would be unable to marry her because it would be against Arab tradition to marry his son's ex-wife.

Mohamed cleverly solved both concerns by enlisting Allah's help in issuing an order hastening Zaid's divorce and nullifying the adoption completely.

Mohamed also managed to get Allah's personal intervention in his marriage to Zainab. The two pertinent passages from the Quran are as follows: 1- No adoption; "Mohamed is not the father of any of you, but he is Allah's messenger and the Seal of the Prophets..." (Q33:40), and 2- Allah's marriage of Zainab to Mohamed, as recorded in the Quran (see verse above) (Q33:37).

In the first place, marrying Zaid to Zainab was part of Mohamed's standard practise of keeping his supporters happy and fulfilled, especially those who fought alongside him to create his Islamic empire. It was an excellent weapon for Mohamed to keep his people satisfied and under control by giving women away as battle prisoners or in marriages. As a result, this event should not be seen as Mohamed's noble gesture.

There is no evidence that Mohamed saw or anticipated Zainab's beauty and attractiveness. Mohamed would not suggest her to Zaid or anyone else if such was the case. On the contrary, like Rihanna and Umm Qirfa's daughter, he would have claimed her for himself.

Mohamed's third wife, Aisha, was certain that Mohamed had arranged Zainab's marriage and that the God of Islam had no business intervening in such a private affair. She was clearly dissatisfied with her marriage. "I feel that your Lord is rapid in satisfying your requests and aspirations," she says sharply, implying that Mohamed wishes to have Zainab. Aisha's reaction is explained differently by Muslim apologists. They dismiss it as idle chatter, a harmless quarrel between a wife and her husband that should not be misconstrued as Aisha doubting Mohamed's confession. "It proves far from rejecting the revelation as Aisha wasn't even angry," says one of the comments published by the Islamic Center for Research and Academics on October 21, 2013. “It was nothing more than a typical honest exchange between enraged spouses imbued with spousal jealousy.”

Can anyone conceive Islam's God, the so-called creator of the universe, becoming involved in the matrimonial affairs of his prophets? Is he willing to go out of his way to perform the wedding ceremony himself? Wouldn't it have been more fitting if Allah, 'The All-Knowing,' had not approved of Zaid marrying Zainab in the first place, knowing that the marriage would end sooner or later? It appears that the incorrect decision was made. This directly contradicts Allah's claim to be "All-Perfect." I dare Muslims to come up with a better response than "Allah never makes errors and there is always a good rationale behind His acts because He is the most knowledgeable."

Adoption is a wonderful endeavour, especially when it involves a mistreated or orphaned kid. The adoption process, like everything else, can be abused, and an adopted child can be mistreated, but all of these wrongdoings can be watched and avoided. Many individuals would be deprived of the opportunity to adore those unlucky children who are often in great need of protection and affection if adoption were abolished entirely. There is no added value or legitimate justification for Mohamed to simply ban adoption and see it as a wicked act, as he is supported by Allah.

If Mohamed's goal had been to assist Zaid and Zainab in resolving their marital problems, he might have done so without involving Allah. Mohamed, as the supreme leader, had the power to dissolve the marriage and reassign alternate partners for Zaid and Zainab from among his many followers, who would have gladly done so.

The brutal killing of people from Ukil “Bani Orena”

"The only reward of those who wage war against Allah and His message and seek corruption in the land will be to be murdered or crucified, or to have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off, or to be exiled out of the land, such will be their downfall in this world, and their fate in the afterlife will be dreadful.", Allah says in the Quran (Q5:33). Mohamed's horrific torture and death of the members of the Ukil tribe was one of the most heinous actions he ever committed.

Some males converted to Islam and travelled to Medina, according to Islamic sources. These men became ill as a result of Medina's environment, and Mohamed advised them to consume camel's urine and milk to cure their ailments. The guys then apostatised, killed the herdsman, and fled with the flock. Mohamed dispatched an expedition to apprehend them, and once apprehended, Mohamed tortured them to death. Here is what Al Bukhari said in his hadith: “…then they killed the shepherd and drove away the camels, and they became unbelievers after they were Muslims. When the Prophet was informed by a shouter for help, he sent some men in their pursuit, and before the sun rose high, they were brought, and he had their hands and feet cut off. Then he ordered for nails which were heated and passed over their eyes, and they were left in the rocky land in Medina. They asked for water, and no one gave it to them until they perished."

My comment:

Again, Mohamed's heinous punishment contradicts the Quran's description of him as a merciful prophet: "(Mohamed), we have sent you for no other reason but to be a kindness for mankind." (Q21:107). Furthermore, a heavenly prophet should never demand such ruthless vengeance or engage in any other behaviour that could be construed as tyrannical or unstable.

Although Islamic Sharia law allows for death as a penalty for unlawful killing, mutilating the bodies and eyes of living individuals is a form of terrible human cruelty widely understood by psychiatric science. To this day, such heinous acts of cruelty can be found all across the world. Islamists argue that Mohamed treated those criminals the same way they treated the shepherd, however there is no evidence to back up this claim, as the hadith in question says nothing about it. Even if the accusation were genuine, it's hard to conceive a holy prophet retaliating in such a violent and savage manner.

Killing Kab Ibn Al-Ashraf and Abu Rafi

Mohamed's power grew after he arrived in Medina. However, he was opposed by a large number of individuals, both Jews and Arabs.

Mohamed began to use a variety of tactics to silence his opponents. One of these methods was to assassinate them. Two Jews, Kab Ibn Al-Ashraf and Abu Rafi, were among Mohamed's most well-known targets, having penned poetry mocking him and his holy message. In 624, these two were assassinated.

My comment:

The assassinations of Kab Ibn Al-Ashraf and Abu Rafi demonstrated that Mohamed would not tolerate anyone criticising him or speaking their minds freely. "Let death be the penalty to ensure no one would dare to dispute whatever I say or do," Mohamed says, and I can hear it echoing around the world.

If Allah had been truly threatened by these individuals, he could have dealt with them directly. Should Allah need to employ the services of men to murder people on his behalf?

Stoning the adulterous mother

This is a truly heartbreaking situation. It's difficult to conceive a supernatural prophet taking a woman's life solely to cleanse her of sin. The mother had just completed breastfeeding her infant, and Mohamed's only option for cleansing her was to stone her to death. This is how it went down:

"A woman from Juhaina came to Allah's Apostle, pregnant because of infidelity. She said, Allah's Apostle, I've done something for which a stipulated punishment must be imposed on me, so do so”. Allah's Apostle summoned her master and said, "Treat her well, and bring her to me when she gives birth."

Mohamed postponed the punishment till the woman had completed nursing her baby: “She came to him (the Holy Prophet) with the child who was clutching a piece of bread in his hand. She said: Allah's Apostle, here is he as I have weaned him, and he feeds. He (the Holy Prophet) entrusted the child to one of the Muslims and then pronounced punishment, in which she was thrown into a ditch up to her chest and stoned."

My comment:

What was the woman thinking when she asked Mohamed to cleanse her by death? Certainly, her child was not on her thoughts since the prospect of Allah's wrath in the form of hellfire would have horrified her.

A merciful prophet of God would never execute anyone, let alone a woman with a 2-year-old kid, but Allah's punishment for adultery justifies all this pathological cruelty. Nothing, it seems, could 'purify' this woman from her guilt except a horrific, protracted, and agonising death under the supervision of a supernatural prophet. Millions of people would be stoned or executed if this law were applied now. Having sex with specific partners is considered a free decision in all nations that value human rights, and it is legally required that both partners be of legal age and consent. Thus, Islamic law directly contradicts Western law in that it: 1- Approves marriages to minors, as in the example of Aisha, who was offered to Mohamed for marriage when she was six years old. 2-States that Muslim wives are unable to refuse their husbands' demands for sex at any time or in any position. "Your wives are your tilth," the Quran adds, "and you may go to your tilth whenever you want." Muslim spouses have no say in the matter, and if a Muslim man forces his wife into sex, there is no such thing as rapping her. 3- Inform males that if their women are disloyal or simply do not respond to their husbands' sexual desires, they should be beaten (Q4:34).

Has Mohamed considered the terrible things that would happen to the child after their mother died, such as being deprived of her care and love, not to mention being tormented for the rest of their lives by their mother's horrific execution?

The purifying request would have been handled humanely by a gracious divine being, with the goal of repentance and loving guidance rather than death as a punishment. Being so close and devoted to Allah, Mohamed might have easily gotten a pardon from Allah – a ruling more in line with divinity than Allah's personal decrees, the so-called divine Quranic revelations, conferred upon Mohamed, such as:

Where are Mohamed's ethics of mercy and forgiveness when compared to Jesus of Nazareth's response to those who came to stone an adulteress: "Let him who is without guilt among you cast the first stone at her." In marked contrast to Mohamed's terrible cruelty, this judgement exhibits genuine kindness and forgiveness.

It is permissible to have sex with captive women.

After the Battle of Hunain , Mohamed's supporters were able to capture some women, as well as their husbands, as prisoners of war. The women would eventually be sold as slaves or concubines. Mohamed's warriors wanted to have sex with the abducted women, but they were hesitant because such an act is considered dishonourable and against Arab morals. The reason for this is that the women who were captured were married, and their husbands were still alive and being detained with them. Mohamed's followers, who were experiencing a sexual drive and knew there was a wonderful opportunity in front of them, sought Mohamed's assistance. Mohamed responded with a revelation from Allah saying: “And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you.” (Q4:24), and: “And they who guard their private parts; except from their wives or those that their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed “(Q23:5). The text makes it clear that you are not allowed to have sexual relations with women who are already married, unless you acquire them through war or from the slave market. This incident is also mentioned in the Muslim hadith Sahih.

My comment:

At Hunain, the Muslims committed a heinous mass rape in broad daylight. Mohamed and the God of Islam approved of this barbaric sexual assault on helpless married women. What kind of moral action might excuse this? The imprisoned women, according to Islamist liars, gave their consent! 'Did they give their permission?' Is that anything I heard correctly? No way! Three words are lacking, and they are 'under the sword' - but then, with the fear of the sword, anyone could agree to anything.

Can you conceive Allah being actively involved in allowing Mohamed's troops to fulfil their sexual cravings with abducted women while their husbands were present? When Mohamed and Allah pushed his disciples to rape, they were unconcerned with morality. For his own personal gain, he was concerned about keeping his men satisfied and thereby maintaining their allegiance. I'm curious how Muslims would react if their wives, daughters, sisters, or mothers were raped by infidels in accordance with their religious teachings?

B. Mohamed's perspective on and assessment of women

Mohamed viewed women as slaves who were expected to serve and delight males. Women, he believed, were inferior to males and should be treated accordingly. Women should never be granted positions of leadership or authority. They were filthy, and the devil could easily take advantage of them. They lacked intelligence and had flaws in their religious dedication. Muslim apologists believe that Mohamed had no prejudices against women and that he always treated them well and fairly, using his wife Aisha (his six-year-old wife) as an example of his exemplary behaviour. Yes! That is correct, and I suppose Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, and all the other awful dictators who always appear to be friendly to their wives or mistresses fall into the same category. What one sees is a brightly coloured mask that hides a self-indulgent pathological passion, which is frequently fueled by mental instability or schizophrenic behaviour.

The following hadiths from Mohamed, which are sanctioned in his Quran and further regulated in Sharia law, indicate clearly the injustice and maltreatment of women in Islam:

This hadith confirms that women were beaten as a matter of course in Islam, and also demonstrates Mohamed's hostility against women. "A man will not be asked why he beats his wife," Mohamed stated.

Allah has granted men permission to beat their wives in this Quranic verse: "As for those from whom ye dread rebellion, admonish them and confine them to beds apart, and scourge (beat) them" (Q4:34).

Women are treated as if they were sex objects. "...and those who abstain from sex, except with those connected to them in marriage or (the captives) whom their right hands possess," according to the Quran (Q23:5&6).

Angels curse women who deny their husbands’ requests for sex: "If a husband calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, causing him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her until morning".

Women who have committed adultery should be imprisoned in their houses until they die. "Call in four male witnesses against any of your women who commit fornication," the Quran reads, "and if they testify to their crime, confine them to the house until death claims them." (Q4:15). This is a confirmed verse in the Quran irrespective of what Muslim scholars claim of its abrogation.

A Muslim husband can divorce his wife by simply saying, "You are divorced," while a Muslim wife may have to wait a long time for a Sharia judge to grant her a divorce, assuming she can establish she was severely abused or mistreated. Regardless of how wealthy her husband is, if she gets a divorce, she will be lucky to get anything from him - a single room to live in and possibly her daily food needs.

In this hadith, Mohamed claims that women will make up the majority of those sent to hell: "I glanced at Paradise and observed that

poor people made up the majority of its inhabitants, and I peered at Hell and noticed that most of its occupants were women."

Mohamed also declared in the same hadith that women lack intelligence: “….is it not the evidence of two women equal to the witness of one man?' They replied in the affirmative. He said, 'this is the deficiency in their intelligence.’”

In this hadith, Mohamed says that women are failures as leaders: “Never will succeed such a nation as makes a woman their ruler.”

It is forbidden for a lady to go alone. All Muslim Imams and scholars have agreed and sanctioned this consensus.

A woman, a donkey, or a black dog passing in front of a man can invalidate his prayer.

In this hadith, Mohamed plainly states that women are unlucky and wicked in nature: "Evil omen is in three things: the horse, the lady, and the house."

Mohamed was unconcerned about female enslavement. He did enslave several women. Some of them were given to him solely by Allah. "...and if a believing lady gives herself to the Prophet [and] the Prophet wishes to marry her, [this is] just for you, excluding the [other] believers," the Quran reads. (Q33:50).

My comment:

If anyone needs more proof of how horribly women are treated under Islamic law, a trip to Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam, is all that is required. Interview, talk to, or, if possible, gain access to some police and civil court cases involving women's accusations and abuse. It is common knowledge that most Saudi women suffer from the worst kind of silent anguish one can imagine.

C. Mohamed’s ego and self-admiration

No other leader has ever required loyalty or sought self-appreciation and admiration in such a domineering philosophy as Mohamed's. Mohamed was egotistical and self-obsessed, according to a lot of evidence. Mohamed legitimised his self-obsession by fabricating divine power, which he claimed from 'Allah,' his fictitious God, the God of Islam, whose existence is unsupported by any evidence. The hadiths, Quranic texts, and events listed below back up my assertion that Mohamed was a narcissist.

Mohamed has related or linked his name with his God 'Allah' in more than forty verses of the Quran. Mohamed, like Allah, must be obeyed, followed, and loved by all Muslims.

"None of you (Muslims) will be true believers until I am more beloved (dearer) to him than his entire family, his possessions, and the entire world," Mohamed states.

All Muslims are commanded by the Quran to bless Mohamed in the manner of Allah and his angels, who are continually blessing him. The Quran says: “Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O ye that believe! Send your blessings on him, and salute him with all respect “(Q33:56).

Mohamed is the sole prophet who will be granted the privilege of intercession on the Day of Resurrection; "It is possible that your Lord will raise you to a station of praise and glory, i.e., the privilege of intercession on the Day of Resurrection" (Q17:79).

In this hadith, Mohamed explains who should be termed a miser: "The miser is the one who mentions me in his presence and does not pour blessings upon me ." So far, no other prophet or leader has done this, to my knowledge.

Mohamed claimed to be the seal (the last) of all prophets in his Quran, saying, "Mohamed is not the father of anyone among you, but [he is] the Messenger of Allah and the last of the prophets." (Q33:40)

Mohamed has asked Muslims to reproduce so that he can boast about their vast numbers on the Day of Judgment. "Marry people who are loving and prolific," the hadith states, "and I shall be proud of your huge numbers in front of the other nations."

D. Mohamed's feelings towards his parents

Mohamed clearly conveyed his sentiments for his parents in the following two hadiths:

"A man asked, 'Where is my father, O Messenger of Allah?' 'In Hell,' he (Allah's messenger) said. When he turned away, he (Allah's messenger) summoned him back and told him, "My father and your father are both in Hell."

In the first hadith, Mohamed condemned his father, who died before Mohamed was born, to hell, while in the second hadith, Mohamed said that Allah had given him permission to visit his dead mother's grave but not to ask forgiveness for her . This was Mohamed's only way of expressing his dissatisfaction with important adults in his childhood. He couldn't divulge his profound emotional problems to the rest of the world, but he could complain about his parents' idol worshipping, which is the reason he offered, but it doesn't convey the whole story.

His mother died when he was six years old, leaving him without a father. He was nurtured in other people's homes, partially by a foster mother and partly by his uncle, an elderly guy who appeared to be in need of care himself. As a result, he felt abandoned, lonely, and afraid as a child. If Mohamed was indeed a merciful prophet, one would expect him to praise his parents and other prominent adults from his youth. We do know, however, that child abuse is a part of Islam, and Mohamed saw child abuse as an efficient technique for forcing people to submit to 'Allah.' He said: "Command your children to pray when they are seven years old, and punish them when they are ten years old," .

We may deduce that Mohamed had been subjected to a significant lot of physical and emotional abuse at the hands of his parents, which was the usual at the period. Mohamed developed unpleasant feelings and behaviours as a result of this. This is evident in his engagement in mass murder, the annihilation of anybody who stands in his way, and the fulfilment of his suppressed emotions and sexual need through the marriage of a 6-year-old girl and the acquisition of a limitless number of wives and concubines. Mohamed could have counted himself fortunate if his only complaint had been that his parents were idol worshippers.

A man who was respected and loved as a child is far less likely to perpetrate paedophile rape, mass murder, or the gruesome torture to death of people he considers to be adversaries or criminals. Mohamed must have endured substantial emotional trauma at the hands of other adults, including beatings and other forms of physical torture, according to logic. Humans are not afflicted with anger and rage unless it is sparked by their encounters with others.

The following is a list of Mohamed's abusive behaviours that no divine prophet, if one ever existed, would engage in:

Characterizing women as evil - Mohamed said: “Evil omen is in three things: The horse, the woman and the house”

His marriage to a 6-year-old girl is said to have been divinely ordered and blessed.

Having his adopted son's wife divorced as soon as possible so that he can claim her as his wife through a holy marriage ceremony.

As directed by his God's chief angel Gabriel, he executed 800 men.

He boasts that he can have sexual intercourse with all nine of his wives in one night, stating that Allah gave him a sexual drive greater than the sexual wants of eighty men combined. I'm curious as to why Allah granted him such privileges and what benefit there is to Allah or Muslims in allowing Mohamed such privileges.

Labelling women as inferior creatures.

Receiving a supernatural decree prohibiting his wives from remarrying following his death (Mohamed left nine widows).

Approving the murder of many men and women who were political and religious opponents.

For power and personal wealth, he organised over a hundred attacks and invasions.

Nonbelievers are referred to as dirty, and individuals of different religions are referred to as swine and monkeys.

Taking a portion of the military booty is an entirely heavenly task for Mohamed.

Owning slaves and maintaining slavery.

Using a divinely empowered decree to get an infinite number of wives and slaves.

Approving the murder of Umm Qarafa and her family, as well as the enslavement of her daughter.

After beating her people and killing her husband, Rihanna, a Jewish woman, was taken as a concubine.

Approving the rape of captive non-Muslim women.

Making many misleading claims with no supporting proof.

Instructing his followers to beat their children.

Women who do not respond to their husbands' sexual desires are cursed.

Condemning his father to the fires of hell and affirming that his mother would not be spared by his God (Allah). &

Mutilating bodies and eyes of living people.
