WELCOME TO The Mighty Free Mind Our aim is to end the abuse and slavery of religious mind control. What Do We Really Learn About Islam? This book provides a critical examination of Islam's foundations, teachings, and historical development, enabling readers to evaluate its claims in light of reason, evidence, and historical inquiry. What does this book explore? Meet the Author Talal Al Rawandi is an independent researcher and author whose work focuses on the study of religious doctrine and its impact on cognition, belief formation, and social behaviour. His research examines the relationship between religious interpretation and individual as well as collective thought. He was born in Syria and has spent more than three decades living across various countries in the Middle East. This background informs his perspective on the Islamic world, including its religious traditions, historical development, and socio-political contexts. His work draws on both lived experience and academic engagement with Islamic theology, Sharia, Hadith literature, and the Quran. This combination provides the basis for his written work and analytical approach to religious and cultural themes. The Rawandic Philosophy Watch this video to learn more about Talal Al Rawandi’s journey, his research, and the philosophy behind Rawandaism. Originating from Syria and shaped by more than three decades of life across the Middle East, his work reflects a deep spiritual study of societies shaped by inherited belief in God and the concept of a hidden divine presence in the universe. Rawandaism is presented as a path rooted in reason, compassion, and spiritual reflection. CRITICAL ANALYSIS Is Islam a Peaceful Religion? Home Page Let us start with the aforementioned verse, which has been taken out of context! The version presented above has excluded conditions that, once included, alter the meaning drastically. Here is the whole verse, rather than the shortened version usually presented by Muslim apologists: ”We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone slew a person - unless it be for murder or for spreading mischief in the land - it would be as if he slew the whole people: and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of the whole people.” Understanding the Verse in Context How does this expansive reading affect what would, on the surface, appear to be a humane directive from the Quran? The verse is directed at the children of Israel, the Jews. It is evident that the God of Islam was not addressing Mohamed’s people, nor was He talking to the Arabs or mankind in general. However, what matters here are the two conditions put forth in the verse which, in effect, necessitate killing: manslaughter and corruption or spreading mischief in the land (on earth). In other words, Allah has laid down rules that, if disregarded, amount to sin or corruption in the land. One of Allah’s main rules is to believe in Him and His messenger; therefore, disbelieving is regarded as a major form of corruption. All apostates who reject Islam, and all Muslim women who demand equality with men, are considered to be spreading corruption in the land and must be killed as called upon by the God of Islam. This is another verse telling us of the penalty that awaits those who corrupt in the land by opposing Allah and his messenger: “The only reward of those who make war upon Allah and His messenger and strive to spread corruption in the land will be that they will be killed or crucified or have their hands and feet on alternate sides cut off or will be expelled out of the land. Such will be their degradation in the world, and in the Hereafter, theirs will be an awful doom.” (5:33). They are to be killed or crucified or, if fortunate, just have their limbs severed and, as we shall learn from the actions of Mohamed himself, have all their property confiscated and enslave their women and their children. Verses Calling for the Destruction of Non-Muslims "O Prophet! Wage jihad against the faithless and the hypocrites, and be severe with them...” (9:73) “O believers, fight the unbelievers around you, and let them realise that you are firm….” (9:123) “And slay them wherever you come upon them, and expel them from where they expelled you…” (2:191-193) “Those who are infidels will surely receive severe punishment both in this world and the next….”(3:56) We also see this clearly in one of Mohamed’s authentic hadiths; "I have been ordered (by Allah) to fight against the people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's messenger, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity, so if they perform that, then they save their lives and property from me…." 2. Apostasy in Islam is punishable by death (02). This is clearly supported by the following verse which defies Muslim apologists’ desperate attempts to bring some impression of tolerance in Islam: “If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter, he will be in the ranks of those who are losers.”(3:85) 3. A non-Muslim is labelled as unclean: “Believers, the idolaters (all non-Muslims) are unclean. Do not let them approach the Sacred Mosque after this year.” (9:28) 4. Muslims are to subjugate the world under Islam; “Fight those who do not believe in Allah or in the Last Day and who do not consider unlawful what Allah and His Messenger have made unlawful and who do not adopt the religion of truth from those who were given the Scripture…. “ (9:29) 5. Mohamed also said: “I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim.” (03) 6. Holy war ‘Jihad’ may be waged to spread Islam; “O believers, fight the unbelievers who are adjacent to you; and let them find in you harshness…” (9:123) and “O Prophet, urge on the believers to fight….and if there be a hundred of you, they will overcome a thousand unbelievers…” (8:65) 7. Jihad may be waged to collect spoils; “So consume what you have taken of war booty [as being] lawful and good…”(8:69) 8. Captive women can be raped and treated as sex - objects; “And [also prohibited to you are all] married women except those your right hands possess. [This is] the decree of Allah upon you.” (4:24). 9. Prisoners of war during jihad may be executed; “It is not for a prophet to have captives [of war] until he inflicts a massacre [upon Allah’s enemies] in the land.” (8:67) One can conclude that all of the so-called peaceful Quranic verses, grasped in their correct context, paint Islam as an oppressive religion; a doctrine concocted to annihilate everything in its path not conforming to its ideology. Besides, Mohamed was never one to show respect for other beliefs, let alone tolerance to anyone who did not accept his own brand of religion. This can only be done by Allah, either directly by revealing a new Quran or bringing Mohamed back to change the existing Quran and many of his so-called divine hadiths. The reformed Quran should not include verses or decrees supporting slavery, misogynistic teaching, child marriage, fighting and killing nonbelievers, unduly severe punishment, the disfiguring of human bodies, revenge, hate, vulgar speech, inequality, and puzzle codes (see pages 66 & 67). The list below highlights the main concerns that the new Quran should address, to proclaim that it can accommodate a religion of peace or peaceful Islam. Apart from the two options mentioned above, Muslims have no other means to reform their Islamic teachings, and this is due to two reasons: For Islam to prove itself peaceful, it must abolish the following inhumane rules along with many Quranic instructions and decrees that have had severe impacts on mankind: Slavery (see pages ---). Wife beating and abuse (see page -----). Child marriage and child abuse (see pages ------31 & 91). The privilege given to Muslim men to rape and have unconditional sex with nonbelievers’ captive women (see page---). Polygamy and owning concubines (see page -------58) Insulting nonbelievers and calling them apes and swine (see page ------28). Constant threats with hellfire and permanent torture for nonbelievers (see page -----90) Encouraging fighting with and killing nonbelievers (see pages -----13 & 89). Misogynistic legislation (see page ------94). Killing apostates, preventing freedom of belief and freedom of speech (see pages -----14, 37 & 43). Should the author of the Quran wish to update his message to mankind, he could easily use a similar approach to when he updated His verse (8:65), see page 107. Allah announced that 20 steadfast believers would overcome 200 nonbelievers. He then changed his estimate to 100 believers being able to overcome 200 nonbelievers - a drastic reduction, after Allah realized that Muslims were not as strong as he gave them credit. Allah, being the ‘All-Knowing’ and ‘All-Wise’, must have realised that His Quran, which had been suitable to people 1400 years ago, now needs a major update, especially to bring it in line with modern technology, civilization and human rights. While updating His Quran, Allah would have a good opportunity to put millions of people’s minds at rest by providing them with proper answers to the many bewildering questions that have not been addressed for the last fourteen centuries, such as the following: What is the undeniable proof of His existence, where did He come from and what does He look like? The only thing that Allah ever told us about Himself is in this short verse from the Quran which is vague, confusing and does not stand as evidence of anything; “Say, He is Allah, (who is) One, Allah, the Eternal Refuge. He neither begets nor is born, nor is there to Him any equivalent.” (The Quran, chapter 112) Where are the seven skies mentioned in His Quran located? (See page 101) How can one heavenly day equal between 1000 and 50,000 earthly days? (See pages 103 & 104) What benefit did Allah gain from His universe, life and mankind? (See pages 198 - 200) Why did Allah send three books, allowing the first two to be corrupted, and decide to preserve the third, the Quran? ………..”…..” (15:9) Why did Allah have to stop the devils from spying on His kingdom, after they had been allowed to do so before revealing His Quran? (See page 114) What was the basis upon which Allah favoured Mohamed, who served Allah for 23 years, over Noah, who served Him for 950 years with complete devotion and loyalty? The Quran says: “And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years…” (29:14).

This article should be a very interesting, particularly for those who like to get answers for all their questions, irrespective of what the questions are. Please read on... Who is Zakir Naik (ZN): The master of knowledge who fully supports child marriage and proudly justifies a 53-year-old man marrying a seven-year-old child. ZN has a photographic memory that enables him to discharge verses from the Quran, Bible, Torah and Vedas at ease. However, he often quotes them out of context and interprets them in relation to his Islamic belief to be the only true religion. Apart from the Christian writer, William Campbell, ZN has never accepted invitations to debate with non-Muslim scholars. ZN’s preaching is a blatant attempt to convert Christians and infidels to Islam. Such religious blindness has taken its toll on ZN, leaving him unable to realise the many serious mistakes and false statements he has made, and continues to make! ZN tends to mislead his audience by playing on their emotional and religious sentiments. Although professing to be scientific and analytical about his explanations, most of the details he provides are often false interpretations without realistic evidence. He invites questions from his audience but is always twisting his answers to guarantee victorious results, aiming to convince the audience that the Islamic faith can handle any challenge. When ZN cannot answer a question rationally, or skewer his response to meet the crowd approval, he acrobatically alters the topic to confuse the questioner or shies away with an excuse. Unfortunately, the bulk of ZN’s audience is totally partisan and hence, they do not grasp his teachings’ absurdity nor his sleight of words. In my book I have elaborated about how ridiculous , deceiving, and misleading ZN's lectures when he talks about Islamic religion as peaceful and moral divine teachings for mankind. Here are some examples to show you what I mean: God would not have carried out trial and error revelation exercises to .......... 2. to believe that Allah is the only true god that ever existed If Allah is the one true God, then the other 2000 or so gods and goddesses, that non-Muslims believe in, are all false! This matter is ....... The question is; how can we prove that any of the few thousands , if any of them exists, to be the true God? They are all unseen beings that.......... If Muslims believe in Allah as the only true God , it is impossible for the 2.3 billion Christian or 1.2 billion Hindus to believe that Allah is ......... 3. To believe that the Quran is the final divine scripture revealed by Allah This can be claimed as true by those who submit to Islam....... However, I have already presented sufficient evidence in my book to negate the belief that the Quran is of a divine origin. 4. To believe that Mohamed is the final prophet This is a matter of opinion that cannot be supported by any proof, other than the stories that have been passed down through many generations. However, I would have thought that ..........Did they have to go through a ’who’s best’ competition with Mohamed becoming the winner? If so, on what basis was the decision made? 5. To believe that all those who do not believe in Allah are doomed to hell I would have thought that Allah, being just and supportive of freedom of choice, should have no problem if people chose to believe in him or not. As has already been said, if Allah is ‘All Mighty’ and ‘above everything’, why should it bother him in the least if some people chose to be unbelievers? There is no doubt that the Islamic brainwashing experts, with their endless fairy tales and nonsense arguments, are trying hard to paint Islam with ..........
- Ia there a God - Quran | Free Mind
Back to Essay CRITICAL ANALYSIS Can we validate any of the Quranic evidence of Allah's existence? Let us briefly look at the evidence stated in the Quran: 1- The unity chapter ‘Say: ‘He is God the one the most unique, Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; ‘He has no offspring, nor is He born from anything. And there is none equal to Him’ This can be claimed by anyone and unless it is backed up by solid proof, it can not hold true. It is like me saying; there is an infinitely large box out there in space. It has something in it that can not resemble anything one could ever imagine. The box came from nowhere and it is going to nowhere. It is totally invisible and it controls everything around us! Now how could anyone with a sound mind believe such claim unless I provide solid proof of its existence? 2- Direct announcements: Anyone could make such announcements and it could certainly apply to any of those few thousand deities people believed in since they started feeling the need for Gods, mainly to ease their fears and protect themselves from the mischief they repeatedly encountered in their lives (thunder and vicious storms, destructive floods, droughts, killing diseases, painful death and losses of loved ones). Any announcement holds no truth unless supported by hard evidence. 3- Allah's challenges: - How could Allah be challenging some 96% of the world population who do not speak Arabic to produce a duplicate of the Arabic Quran. However, the challenge has been met, but Muslims will not even bother to look at the submitted challenges as they strongly believe, usually told and made to believe, that it is impossible for anyone to reproduce anything similar to the Quran. - It is not true that all people would acknowledge Allah as their creator. In fact, 84% of the world population, that is few billions, may not know whom Allah is let alone believing in him. Note : In my book 'The Islam Delusion-Volume 1 , Chapter 6' I have discussed to a great length and in a simplified manner all the main evidence available so far to prove God's existence. I have also addressed other claims of God's existence such as gut feelings, and hearing godly voices. All have been refuted in a professional manner with clear evidence based on reason and common sense. خلف

Back to Essay CRITICAL ANALYSIS The Ontological Argument The ontological argument is a conductive argument. It is not based on observation of the world but rather on reason alone. There is no need for physical evidence of God’s existence; we can work out that he exists just by thinking about it. Here is the argument in its logical state: 1. God is the greatest being or greatest thing we can imagine. 2. Things can exist only in our imagination, or they can also exist in reality. 3. Things that exist in reality are always better than things that exist only in our imagination. 4. If God existed only in our imagination, he would not be the greatest thing that we can think of, because God in reality would be better. 5. Therefore, God must exist in reality. The Ontological Argument's main flaws: 1- God's essence cannot be known – this means that we cannot say that God is a being for which no greater being can be thought of. 2- We can use the assumed argument to prove that anything we imagine could exist in reality and this can not hold true. It is just absurd to prove the existence of a perfect being by simply imaging it. This argument has further serious objections and many philosophers have considered this argument to be absurd. Note : In my book 'The Islam Delusion - Volume 1 , Chapter 6' I have discussed to a great length and in a simplified manner all the main evidence available so far to prove God's existence. I have also addressed other claims of God's existence such as gut feelings, and hearing godly voices. Back to Essay CRITICAL ANALYSIS The evidence of Allah’s existence The proofs that we have for Allah's existence are nothing but various claims mentioned repeatedly in the Quran. These claims come under three categories: 1- Direct announcements 1.1 Allah's prime announcement describing himself as eternal, absolute, unique , having no offspring , nor is he born from anything and there is none equal to him (Chapter 112) 1.2 Further general announcements in different verses where Allah claims that he exists and he possess many superior features highlighted in his ninety nine names mentioned in the Quran. 2- Allah's claim to be the creator and the prime controller of everything we see around us. (people, animals, plant, life, death, skies, stars, moon, sun, wind, cloud, rain, thunder, day and night). Allah specifically claims that he is the one that makes birds airborne capable of flying and make ships to get afloat and enable them to sail. 3- His challenges: No one will be able to duplicate his Quran No one but Allah is capable to bring a dead human or animal back to life No one can help people when they are in need except him. Undeniable acknowledgement from people saying;"it is Allah who created us" if were asked who created them. Note : In my book 'The Islam Delusion-Volume 1 , Chapter 6' I have discussed to a great length and in a simplified manner all the main evidence available so far to prove God's existence. Back to Essay CRITICAL ANALYSIS The Kalam Cosmological Argument The word "kalam" is Arabic for ‘speaking’ but more generally the word can be interpreted as ‘theological philosophy’. This is the argument in its general form: Whatever begins to exist has a cause for its existence. All matter, space and time began to exist. Therefore, the universe–everything that exists, everything that has existed, and everything that will exist – has a cause. God is the best explanation for this cause. Therefore, God exists. The Kalam Argument's main flaws: 1- It doesn't prove that the first cause was a being, and it certainly does not suggest that this being is eternal, omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, personal and moral. 2- It does not prove that the first cause itself was without a cause and it would not prove that a first cause existed 3- it does not indicate that the cause of the universe was the Abrahamic God. Note : In my book 'The Islam Delusion-Volume 1 , Chapter 6' I have discussed to a great length and in a simplified manner all the main evidence available so far to prove God's existence. I have also addressed other claims of God's existence such as gut feelings, and hearing godly voices. Back to Essay CRITICAL ANALYSIS The 'Five Ways' argument 1- The Argument from Motion The Unmoved Mover. Nothing moves without a prior mover. 2- The Argument from Causation The unmoved cause. Everything in the world has a cause and nothing is the cause of itself. 3- The Argument from Contingency There must have been a time when no physical things existed. However, if everything at one time did not exist, that means nothing existed – so there was nothing to cause the existence of everything else. But, since physical things exist now, then there must be a being with necessary existence, a being that was not brought into existence but has always existed and this being is called God. 4- The Argument from Degree We notice that things in the world differ. There are degrees, say, of goodness or perfection but we judge these degrees only by comparison with a maximum. Humans can be both good and bad, so the maximum goodness cannot rest in us. Therefore, there must be some other maximum to set the standard for perfection, and that maximum is called God. 5-The Teleological – The Argument from Design Things in the world, especially living things, look as though they have been designed. Nothing that we know looks designed unless it is designed. Therefore, there must have been a designer, and we call him God. The Five Ways Argument's main faults 1- The assumed prime mover should not necessarily be God by default. 2- The assumed prime mover could be anything or any one of those thousands of deities that people have believed in for thousands of years? 3- There is no justification to exempt the assumed prime mover from the rule 'everything that exist must have a causer' 4- It does not prove that the assumed prime mover is a single being or multiple beings. Note : In my book 'The Islam Delusion - Volume 1 , Chapter 6' I have discussed to a great length and in a simplified manner all the main evidence available so far to prove God's existence. I have also addressed other claims of God's existence such as gut feelings, and hearing godly voices.
